what are the red spots like.get him to a good vet or that vet again.but if your vet is good then you can relax but you can always go for a secoond opinion.google the problem also,u might find what you are looking for.

Hi Rahul. Same prob with my black lab. He developed red spots around his neck 2-3 days back. Today I consult vet and he gave 2 shots of injection & Livcet tab., one liqu.to apply. I dont remember the name. The vet said it is dermatitis. It will take 4-5 days to recover. This is a fungus caused by humid atmosphere. Lets hope to recover early.

When I got my dog, Bruno, as a puppy, the breeder had been giving him saborvita dog food. I received a small bag of this dog food from the breeder and I continued to feed him this until he was about a year old. I noticed that he was always picky about the food, usually never finished his food, and his coat wasn't as shiny and long as it was supposed to be at his age. I talked to my vet about this and she recommended drools. She even gave me a sample pack of drools dog food. I started to feed it to my dog. I can tell that he really likes the food and his coat has been as shiny as ever since then! Thanks, drools!!
