Is it take two months for the KCI registration of dogs?

Dear Concerned, This is with respect to registration of a puppy. I had spoken to the breeder for the registration of the puppy, earlier he said it will be done now when the pup is 16 days old he is saying I can give confirmation of the breed on Letter head or the stamp paper. As per him it takes 2 months for the registration of the pup from KCI. Request you to please let me know what needs to be done in this case.

ask him to give that both stamp paper and letter head as well as ask him for the papers of sire and dam then ask him to give you his business registration # with local governing authorities like MCD and all then let him know if your pup will not be registred within 90 days of age then after that it will be registered only under unknown pedigree pure breed second if that is fin with you then you gotta wait till KCI dog show near around you to get opinion certificate for your pup third is wait for 9 months of age check lisitings of authorized certifiers contact one of them and get an opinion certificate from them once you opinion certificate you need to mail it kci head quartes with 6 photographs of your pup (different angles kci certifier will tell you about that) with demand draft fees check it kci website and duly filled form and after that it will take close to 2 months to get registration documents and chip

just due to curiousness why we guys inquire about the breed after buying the pup specially you get emotionally attached with it and why do we need papers for a beloved pup....and why we are seeing the pet as a profit and loss statement.....if we think it's something to feel proud with that then try an compare two feelings love and proud go with the deeper one
