What could be the problem if puppy is denying for food?

Dear friends, I have a 5 months old GSD. From last 1 month he is not taking his feed so actively. We have to forcefully feed him by the supportive things like biscuits in his meal. I am providing him 6 roti and half litre milk & dahi and soyabin in his morning meal and Rice milk curd soya bean in his night meal. But he is not taking his diet in a proper manner. He kept his food near a hour and then he eat it. Due to this his health is going down and the growth is not done in proper manner. Friends please suggest me what I have to do?

Same happend with my lab when he is 5 months old, after checking with vet, I found that it is because of teeth falling and it cause irritation and pain for him and that is the reason for not eating. What I suggest is please take him top vet and check for his teeth and also any other health issues i.e. fever so on... If everything seems fine after checking with vet then you need to re-think about the food you feed him.

same thing happnd with my GSD also. he was not taking his proper morning meal and the night meal also. sometimes it will be vice versa so i resulted it to be an attitude issue. i started giving only 1 meal in the evening and with the doubled quantity. touchwood he has started to attack his food as earlier. i know its hard to cut down on 1 meal for our own children but i had no other option. i also showed him to the vet but everything was fine.

You can check with your vet and for my lab my vet gave some sort of injections and afterthat he starts eating well. There might be also the reason that as roti is hard to chew and your puppy tooth irritation makes your pup not to eat as it irritates him while chewing. Instead of roti try giving egg fried rice (rice mixed with egg (remember no onion, salt, other masala stuffs)), curd rice, rice with chicken minces (either raw or boiled one). Consult your vet he can give you better choice of food.

Dear kamal Ji,
The ROTI and MILK are well shacked in MIXER before giving. And one thing also. The ROTI is put in water for 5 minutes before shacking in MIXER and then after mixing both ROTI and MILK in MIXER then it provided to the dog.
kamal ji I am very much worry about his growth. No other symptoms shows that shows that my dog is sick.Only feeding problem make him waeker.

If you feel only feeding problem make him weaker then instead of milk you use yogurt/curd with roti and give him, as yogurt/curd contains living enzymes which is good for your puppy immunity system, also these living enzymes are not present in milk and thats why you see sometimes puppy having loose stools. You can also add cottage cheese (paneer) in his diet.
