you need to check the cause of itching like is the place where you keep your dog is it clean? you need to brush him regularly.Check the dog's diet too as it may also cause this itching problem. Check with your vet first always.

Show your vet as it is a skin problem, like mange. Never wait too long to show a vet.

Scrapings of the mange affected skin has to be examined under microscope for what kind of mange it is. It can be demodectic or sarcoptic. Pls take him to a vet and do not look to treat him on your own.
