My German Shepherd Male Puppy's Ears Didnt Erect Yet?

My German Shepherd pup is 4 months and 14 days old. He is healthy and active. But he gets tired in half an hour while playing. I am feeding him royal canin as per the chart, one boiled egg, one cup of milk per day. Also supplements megaflux powder, ostocalcium tablet, ostopet syrup are given to him. His ears didnt erect yet. Sometimes only it got erected but not permanently. What should i do for this? i am preparing him for shows.

Hi Please consult your vet. You are feeding your puppy with premium brand dog food which have all the nutrient required by the dog. It is complete food when feeding premium brand food it is not required to feed any other supplement unless recommended b your vet. Osto calcium and megaflux are the supplement given to dog suffering from joint problem. They are not suitable for puppy. In heavy Bone or Healthy German Shepherd Puppy some times it may take 4 - 6 months to have the ears erect. So do not worry more about it.

I dont think that's a cause of worry yet. My GSD's ears were not up until he was 6-7 months old. It really varies from dog to dog. I have even seen puppies with ears up by the 1st month. You dont have to do anything, just ensure that he's properly fed and healthy. For a 4 month old puppy, half an hour is a good workout. You can do it 3-4 times a day and he'd be a happy dog :)

do not worry. Thats quite common, the ears will take be fully erect around 8 months. Do not over exert your puppy, half an hour is a lot at 4 months!
