My Golden Retriever has fever, please help?

hi, i got a 4 month golden retriever 3 days back , i took her to the vet yesterday for normal check up and he found out she had some fever. he told me to give her half human crocin with water. I am not too sure about giving human medicines to her. Shall i take her to another vet, Please advise.

Friend, it will be better to take your dog to some other vet.....thoes these medicines are first tested to animal before they are ready for human use....but why take chances....go to another vet and get him check properly. if you want refrences got to friendicos SECA

i wont be surprised if a crocin cured fever in a dog, because paracetamol is effective against fever in all mammals...

Yes crocin does help even dog fever. Its harmless but do not give too many doses and if fever persists its best the VET treats him.
