I have a 10 months old GSD pup, he is facing problems with his ears, please help?

Hi Guys, I have a 10 months old GSD pup. Now a days he is facing problems with his ears. he used to shake his head badly and tries to scratch his ears thats also special at late night or early morning when he used to sleep in our home varanda. I had a talk on phone with sanjay gandhi animal welfare society doctor he said its because of winter. We are using winter coat for him also. Can anyone of you frnds guide me for the wellness of my GSD pup because i cant see him getting disturbed by all this. Please suggest me what to do and if someone has already faced the same problem with his dog how they cured it.

Best option show him to a good vet.

It can be a ear infection. is there a foul smell coming from the ear. Also check if there is a tick etc in his outer ear.

Never delay showing a vet your dog if there is any problem. The sooner the better.

Thanks for reply Dinker. I will be taking him to vet sure this saturday but as i really wanted some quick help for him thats why i posted this query here. BTW there is no foul smell coming from his ear, but yes there is some brownish discharge/debris in his right ear.
