This a simple case of spoiling your dog never feed him by hand as then he will get into a habit which will not be able to be changed later on. May be you are feeding him too much. Put the bowl of food if he does not eat after 45 min remove it. Do this for a day or two and he will start eating. It may not be easy for you to see it but it will work and do it and dont feed any tit bits between meals.

Also get deworming done every 3 months according to your dogs weight. He may not be eating due to worms also.

Friend, a dog is not a human being and this is the common mistake we make while treating it. It is like our child, isn't it? Rightly said by Kasmanda, please stop hand feeding. Give it food as per schedule but throw away the food if it does not have. while doing this ensure that you administer it with antacid (eg. pan 40) in the morning, empty stomach, else it might have acidity since it is season change.

Also please administer it with de-worming medicine as per vet advice along with a liver tonic.
