buddy ...... ........it may be due to ticks n fleas , dandruff , some kind of allergy......these r the main reasons for scratching in dogs generally........hair fall can be natural.......to avoid excess hair fall u can give glossy coat or nutri coat to ur dog twice a day as suggested by ur vet.........do regular combing or brushing of ur dog........or if u haven't dewormed ur dog for more than 3 months then get him dewormed because sometimes it can also lead to excessive hair fall.........but first consult to ur vet....... skin problem can cause serious problems.....

Friend... This could also be a behavioural problem due to lack of exercise or socializing... Labradors are usually very social animals and need lot of companionship. Get him checked for menge too... What is antibiotic vaccine??
