what kind of attack??? explain the situation and also what you expect from your dog... protection dogs needs serious training and i will suggest you not to wish for an aggressive dog... there are many things you have to consider and the first thing is what you want from your dog...

As per dog psycology what I read from the internet, If dog's master (Alpha Role) abused/attacked in front of Dog, Any dog will definitely turn agressive towards the one who attacked/abused his master. If your boxer is not agressive then please check his pedigree. I dont think so that the training will help because defending his master should be a natural tendency which should come by birth for such breeds under working catagory.
Please correct me if i am wrong....

Well Shalin you were the one who came up with this post and now you say "guys dont you think he is still a pup??? i think i should give more tym to him" funny..... If you staged an attack your dog will sense it. If it was really an attack any dog will attack and an boxer will attack. and most protection training like the schutzhund are staged but they are professionals they know how a dog will think.

Where you attacked by another dog or people? A dog that is shy may attack only when it is provoked and it's security is at risk while a dog higher up in the pack will attack to protect its territory.

it was really an attack. i asked some boxer experts and they said that he is still a pup so let him mature.

@Kamal

practice makes a man perfect... and the same applies to dog... when you can make a aggressive dog calm then you can do the opposite very easily :) its all about how you train...

please let me know when you are coming to patna because I might not be available in patna for a week or two. I have to attend 2 marriage. but if i would be available then surely we will meet you.

buy a thick rope, or old jeans or thick cloth put a knot on the both end and play tug-of-war... this will help to build the temperament but always remember

1. never loose the game and
2. teach him to leave the rope on command

:) soon he will fine...
