They have a heavy coat so I would suggest that you keep it in doors and later when it grows up also it should be kept indoors apart from its walks in the evening or morning when it is cooler.

As of now keep it inside and cool under the fan or ac as it must be quite hot and humid there. By now it should be weaned off and should be feed Royal Canin or Eukanoba puppy food, also read the instructions which food at what age and how much. I guess the pup has not got any vacinations so keep it indoors and it should not come in contact with any stray dogs untill it gets its vacination. Rabies it will get at 6 months generally and the rest should be now but consult your vet and wait for atleast a week or so for it to get acclimatised to hyderabad and you as it must be tired and exhausted. Again the vet will be able to give you some vitamins and calcium to be given later on. Meals generally should be atleast 4 times right now. If it is smaller and is not chewing etc then you can give carelac in water like we give babies and then shift to packaged food.

Also please do your research on the net regarding the breed and its special needs. Once should only get a dog after doing the research and not visa versa like in your case. What I will also advise you is later on please train and socilaise this pup properly and do not spoil it. Chow Chow's are quite different to other dog breeds and are a loof breed more like cats.

hey if you haven't read up on the breed already you might be in for a disappointment - I have no personalexperience with the breed but I do kno that that they are rather aloof and independent. So if you are expectintg Labrador like traits, you might be in for a bit of a shock dude. But that said, the Chow Chow is a really great breed and quite a looker with their leonine good looks
