It will take a while to train your dog to respond to her name. As with any training, you need positive reinforcement: if you say his/her name and pup perks ears or looks up, then reward the pup - a biscuit, encouraging voice and actions.

Dogs respond best to names that are a single syllable. If pup has a longer name, use a shortened version.

For example, if your dog's name is Inca, pup only going to respond to the stressed syllable "Ink," so you can say "Inky" and pup likely respond the same way as if you say "Inca."

Therefore, it is important not to have two dogs with similar names, like Tess and Jess - the poor things will just get confused.

What kind of name you given to them?
As posted above kindly avoid name which sound kind of same
And its 1 month you should teach him with good treat and call them. Most imp never shout with name
For them its like when you call them it should be most pleasure enjoyable time in this world (Use treat from get go then random surly soon they will recognize there name)

Use marker training. First select a marker word or a click (if using clicker). I use "YES" as the marker word. First step is to load the mark. i.e. Say the marker word and reward the puppy. Say YES and then reward the puppy. Once you do this for a few days, the moment the puppy hears the mark, it will come running to you. If this happens, Step1 is complete.

Step 2. take your puppy to a calm room with no distractions. Say the puppy's name and if he looks at you MARK and reward. For example if your puppy's name is "SHAKTHI" , say SHAKTHI, if the puppy looks at you , say "YES" and reward. Now the puppy understands that Responding to your call of Shakthi is what gave him the reward. Next move away from him anc call shakthi, if he takes even a step towards you , mark and reward. keep building on this and pretty soon he will respond to his name.

Marker training is the basis of all morden day dog training. google it, read up and learn.

All my dogs are marker trained. You can see them at

Training your separately. Keep one dog in a separate place when you train the other one.
