My 12 months lab finds anything like Handkerchiefs n socks he swallows them, help?

i am having 12 months lab, problem is that if he finds anything like Handkerchiefs n socks he swallows them (even once he swallowed a portion of his own leash) but later he vomits out everything within 3 to 4days or a week,i had been facing this problem since he was 3 months old i think it is really a big problem as things can cause infection in his stomach. Plz guide me how to get rid of this problem...

How much exercise does he get in a day? What food do you feed him? If he does not get enough exercise, he will try to keep himself occupied with such activities. If he does not get the right food he can try to bite on anything and everything he get. Has he been de-wormed. I assume he does not get enough exercises.
If you are a non-veg, give him a beef knuckle bone which will keep him occupied.

He has been getting a good diet. Better to increase his exercise. 30 mins for 1 km walk looks like a slower walk. He should be given a brisk walk 3-4kms in 45 mins is the best. He should not wander during the walk. should be close to you through out the walk. Give him a break inbetween once or twice just to releive himself.
