Chandu, Its all incorrect. I being a breeder of Pug have never encountered such problem. Chances of Caesarean in Pug is 1 in 500 females. I have experienced 18 litters of Pug puppies till date and have never got a caesarean done.
Puppies all healthy, and excellent.

Generally dog breeds with big heads require cesareans due to the size of the heads the pups at times are unable to come out naturally as seen in Bulldogs. I am told it happens in pugs due to the head, but I cannot say how many times etc as I am not a pug breeder.

I think I was a unlucky one. Had 1 pug female and she went for a C-section where she passed away. I have many friends who breed pugs. They dont have a single issue. Just my luck.

Are you hoping to become a pug breeder?
