Please give me the vaccination process of dog?

Hello All, We have adopted two Desi stray Female Dogs last year. Now with god grace both have delivered 12 puppies(9 from one and 3 from second). Now they are 15 days old. Initially they were on Mother's milk but for the last 4 days we are also giving them external milk.SO moving forward what should be the diet of these puppies in the next one month or so. One of the doctor has suggested to give them Vitamin Powder along with milk. So I need help in the diet regard. More over regarding vaccination the dog has suggested to give them de-worming medicine once they are 30 days old and then vaccination when 45 days old. So is this advise correct? Thanks in advance for help. Waiting for some expert opinion.

Buffalo's milk cause loose motion to pups as pups cannot digest cow/buffalo milk. I suggest you to please provide them cerelac + Powdered RC starter(if not affordable use nutripet starter) stir this two with warm water and give to pup. I used this combination for my friend's 25 days english cocker spaniel and it worked well.

@Kamal Thanks for the info. Actually there are 9 pets of one dog and she was not able to feed them properly so we as supplement started buffalo milk. Btw what is better cerelac/merelac/somalac?

About Nutripet starter: IS nutripet the name of the company? And can you please elaborate the advantage
of PowderRC starter/Nutripet Starter?

Thanks again for replying.

I gave cerelac only and i dont know about merelac/somalac (may be this is specific to puppies as cerelac for human babies). yes nutripet is name of the company.

Power RC starter means power the RC starter in mixie and about advantage is it provides good health and immunity. Also it helps puppy to gain some weight and become strong.

you can use starter only when your dog is more than 3 weeks old and that to slowly shift it from milk to solid(starter).you can rehydrate starter by mixing it with lukewarm water in a ratio of 1:1.

okai, Right now I am giving them cerelac. I am at a place where RC is not available. they have pedigree only> they did not had merelac/Somalac. So i have bought cerelac and feeding all 12 puppies with it. Though both the female dogs are feeding their pets with milk even now so I am not sure whethere they are ready for weaning or not.
I have one question that if this started is not available at my place then besides cerelac what other things (i.e. home made) I can give to them in food right now so that it serves the nutrition purpose for all of them.

THanks Dr Hananjay for replying.

Hello Friends.Need some more advise.
Till now we are giving them Cerelac, oats(both in water) and some time rotis(after breaking into smaller parts and mixing with water) and liquefied rice. The point is we are vegetarians and non-veg is not allowed in my home. I went to vet shop and found that all nuriepet starter and RC starter were non veg. The only veg food available was of pedigree and even that was not availalbe.

SO Can anyone suggest me which is the best veg-dog food that can be bought from market. Moreover if it is not available then what are things that we can feed him(home cooked food) which are safe as well as nutritious. As there are 12 puppies and we don't want abandon any and feeding all with market-food may not feasible too. please mention veg food only.

Moreover I have also bought dygotin.SO when is the right time for dygotin? They are 1 month old now. What other syrup has to be bought(like pet starter etc) and what are their advantages.

We will deworm them in a day or two. And somewhere in this forum i have also read that they can be feed with Daliya too. But Isn't milk not safe for dogs? We were giving the older female mother milk for like 1 year but they never showed any negative consequences :)

Home cooked food is the best option, but the dog is a member of canine family, so, meat is essential for proper physical and mental gowth of a dog. Meat should be mixed with carbohydrates(rice is the best in the weaning stage later, chapati can also be tried) along with a little vegetables. Avoid using large amount of vegetables because the short structure of dogs digestive system makes it difficult to digest and bloating or other problems may occour. Milk is not a suitable option for a dog, but yoghurt or home made Dahi is good for his digestive system.
Sloppy mixture should be avoided for proper digestion. And a bowl of fresh water is needed for his disposal round the clock.
Another point, please ensure that your dogie is properly vaccinated especially distemper, parvo and Rabies, until then dont let them get mixed with other unprotected puppy or adult dogs. To know more about rabies related issues you can visit https://rabies.org.in/

Thanks indrajit for your Suggestions. We have vaccinated all the 10 puppies with 7 in 1 booster 2 days earlier. Now the doctor has said to give them a rabies injection after twenty days.

Regarding food, my family is strict vegetarian and hence we can't bring meat in the house. SO currently i was giving them bread, roti(started giving them lately) and some quantities of milk and some sugar. Will start giving them liv 52 in a day or two. They don't like rice somwhow. Any help towards making them eat rice will be helpful. Moreover they also don't eat boil vegetables. But eat rotis with lots of interest. Moreover if any other tonic which can be given to them, please suggest. They are 2 months old now.
