3 months & 5 kgs is a good weight., 12kgs is highly overweight. The weight of a adult GSD varies from 26-44 kgs. Dont worry, 'Drools-Focus-puppy' is good. You can also feed your GSD, 'Royal Canin-German Shepherd-Junior'.
Whatever food you feed your pup, follow the feeding instructions given in the back of the pack.

5 kgs at 3 months is insane ! Does he even eat at all ? Please stop Drools and put him on Royal Canin asap. It is more content rich, and hence more expensive. The packet has a feeding chart, use that. Mix boiled chicken (without bones) if he does't find the food palatable.

I think a 3 month old puppy has to be fed 3-4 times a day. Please monitor him when he eats. His poop will also tell you a lot about how healthy he is. Consult a good vet.

Royal Canin or whatever brand you feed him, has to be his main meal. Don't feed roti/sabzi and milk and bread. Young puppies need more proteins than carbohydrates.

I think you should put your puppy on Brit Premium Puppy formula. It is super palatable and has excellent results. The ingredients help in good digestion. Just follow the feeding guidelines on the packet and feed the puppy 3 times a day. Keep away from meat and calcium tablets.

I own 3 month old puppy gsd (male) weighing around 10kg, he is very healthyI feed him royal canin thrice in a day, and milk twice (total 1 litre) Please remember, it's boiled milk, never give your puppy, raw food/milk, because it's a babyDuring basic training everyday I give him 2 biscuit and 1 calcium bone(small)Please feed him in duration for every 3 or 4 hours, he feels hungry quickly for first 6 months..And give him/her 1 carrot each day, he will love it..I know royal canin is very expensive, but try to afford atleast for first 10-12 months For its healthy growth...
