well i saw pics in your profile ceasar looks good he has awesome head he doesn't look that thin to me tough they look like old pics its not ideal weight for an male adult gsd prolly around 35 to 40 or even 45 if its a working dog 35 to 40 will be best well does he get enough exercise? and how much do you feed him if hes healthy he is healthy there are no medicines or injections to build muscles in dogs well just exercise. my pup is 7months old weighs about 24kg's shes a female and she gets almost 2 to 2.5 hours of good exercise mentally and physically so ya and best way to build muscles is to exercise the dogs btw what do you feed him?

Hi Arsh,

I think 30 kgs is a decent weight for a GSD, even the topmost quality doesnt weigh over 35-40 at 3 yrs of age...it also depends a lot on the genetics of the dog..still you can try the following measures:
1, Give ample amount of exercise (Not running, i am talking abt him dragging you when u take him out for walk, this will improve his chest and hind legs to the most.)
2. Make sure that deworming is done on time .
3. I would suggest you also get his checkup done for his liver functionality ( he may have some liver issues ) and giving Liv52 will solve this issue (pls consult your vet first and then only go for it)
4. Make sure that he gets enough water all through the day.
5. He is mature now, get his mating done...most of the dogs gain weight/muscles after 2-3 matings at regular intervals ( NOT BACK TO BACK).

Hope this helps.

Thanks & Regards

try to change food i.e. instead of pedigree give him Royal Canin German Shepherd adult or try for B.A.R.F. diet.

ya follow tariq lol dude if he pulls then the dog is taking arsh for a walk which is abit different ? ;p lol ya no running? lol running builds muscle's man lol not draggling lol GSD always will have a fit chest if the dog is fat or lean just feed what you are doing now royal canin is just more powerfull food like 300grams of royal canin will be enough compare to 500 grams of pedigree i'm telling you cuz of my expereince, man my pup just gets tired down after few mins of play when she is on pedigree for 2 days :S i only feed her royal canin since i got her i now i spend 4000 per month only on royalcanin don't feed too much liver too much organ meat is not good and if hes fine and eating normally. i would not suggest liv 52 although its completely harmless its just used to improve the Appetite NOT NEEDED if hes eating normally By the wayt why do you feed milk ? upload recent pic pls so that everyone can see how he is now and can suggest something i strongly recommend switching to BARF diet im also switching to it make sure you do the research and i cant comment on that mating thing cuz i don't know about it.

hi arsh
the pics that you have posted of ceasar ,
he is not thin --- he is lean ( which is good)
my dog is 14 months and weighs 32 kgs
i feel being lean is better then facing problems due to over weight
