well u since he is just 3 months old..feed him at least 2-3 times a day..to train him like you want first teach him the NO command..I feel the best way of teaching this is when your pup is doing something you don't like to give a strong firm command (no) if the dog stops then immediately go and praise and give him a treat if you have one. If he doesn't stop then go and get him and remove him from the distraction while saying "no" so that he knows that you want him to stop. once he knows this command u can tell him no till u serve the food nd let him eat once ur clear with it. I learned this way through a website and it worked on my dog. Also teach him these things before the feeding time as he will learn faster if he knows he will get to eat afterwards

Your best bet for training your puppy is to teach him sit and stay commnands. This wayt you can put him into a sit before preparing his food and make him stay until you put the bowl down.
You must also teach a release command such as "okay" or "release" so that he knows he may then come out of the stay.

Good luck!
