Hello Friends, My four month old Labrador has very sharp nails. Can I start nail clipping ?? If yes, then what precaution do I need to take during the process. How can we make this process less irritating for th puppy?

I asked my vet the same question when my lab was about 6 months old. He asked me to wait as her nails were not solid yet. More like "puppy nails" so try to wait another few months. till then you can take him on long walks outside, that would file the nails and they will not hurt that much. Hope this is useful to you.

nail cutting in dogs are not simple as half the nails are having blood vessels so fist get some tips physically from some trained person and then go ahead....pupppy will not going to enjoy that
