Please suggest me good brands of dog food?

hello guys, my gsd (2 yrs) was having digestive problems, the vet advised Hills prescription diet dog food. however i am not really interested to use any dog food on him. i support home made food only. can someone suggest me about the brand. also i have read some reviews about the food which says it is as harmfull as any other dog food. plz share your valuable comments.

Yes, I've been adding 2-3 gm of Gutwell into my Lab's water bowl. It worked well after my Lab threw up all his breakfast and Lunch on Thursday. Since then he's been doing good. No vomiting. Apart from that. it's not a bad idea to feed a good Liver supplement. I'm using Himalaya's Liver 52, feeding 5ml in the morning. Liver tonics stimulates liver function and improves appetite. You can also use Venky's Ventriliv which is as good as Him's Liv 52.
Vets and pet shops will entice you into buying commercial food, don't fall into their trap.

Hills prescription diet dog food (canned) is quite good for dogs with digestive problems. Even my vet has recommended me the same. However, I am not being able to find it anywhere. Need help!
