I have a Rottweiler male dog, he is very aggressive, please help?

Hi, I have a Rottweiler male dog. He is around 11 months old. But now a days I found out that the dog is getting aggressive towards the object which are smaller them him. It can be anything kids, smaller dogs or anything which he think is weaker then him. I have two kids in my family so I need to take a lot of care. I cannot leave him unleashed alone in the home. So please help me and let me know how can I handle him. Thanks, Joginder Singh

This dog was trained for two months by a experienced trainer. His basic training was done. He obey the command like sit, dont eat etc. but when he saw something weaker then him then he forgot everything.
That is the problem. I dont know how to correct his behavior.
If you can suggest me something that will be a great help.

No dogs are dangerous and all dogs can be dangerous... we should take care of the things

I might not be clear but its Rottweiler nature
He is very kind with family and could be aggressive towards other dogs and smaller things like birds...

but Sir your dog is dangerous because he is aggressive towards kids and this is not the nature of true Rotty...

This may be happened because of lack of socialization or ignorance

and my 7 week puppy do all those sit and those kind of thing. You have a male 11 month Rotty he needs some more mental and physical challenges.

1. please buy him a Pinch or Prong collar (search internet how to use it) (these collar are specially design of the training dogs and cause no harm if used correctly)
2. take him for regular walk in a park where you find a good crowd... as he move towards a child or small things give him a quick snap... and say no...

** This might take few days if your dogs have a strong will but be patient... and if he tries to resist or try to bite you then muzzle him... he might nip you...

this is the age when you have to control your dog else he could turn into a Killer...

He need to socialize him properly, 11 months is late but and hard but not impossible. Let your kids feed the dogs from now on. After a weak of feeding. Let them take him out for his toilet business and stuff he should know the kids have power over him and don't let them hit or tease the dog. Do all this with you supervising and you should be vigilant and ready at all times during these process. You have to research more on the internet than just posting in Dogspot. Research the net there is a separate forum for rottweilers you can get tons of information there.

we have never ever suggested a rottweiler in a family having small kids.the reasons are quite well known .in india u can not expect a temperamentally tested rotty.it is better for farmhouses ,factories and places having high cash transaction daily!!it is always a one strong man's dog not a family pet.
