Please suggest me the regular diet of Dalmatian?

Hi, Since birth I have had dogs like Daschund, Doberman, Cocker spaniel etc, but this time for the first time I got home a Dalmatian after the demise of my last one a daschund.Since its my first time with a Dalmatian and due to their digestion problems and urine stone probs I'm still in the search for the right mix of food for him.Can anyone who's owned a Dalmatian give me a feedback on what they feed as a regular diet? As far as i know the food for a Dalmatian should be high protein but low in purines. Is Royal Canine at par with the requirements? Presently he's 2 months old, I got her home when she was 24 days (yes really very small then), was feeding him cerelac till 1.5 months and recently started on 3 times diet a day - once mixed vegetables(carrot, potatoes, beet root, cereals like dal etc) and minced chicken boiled with pinch of turmeric, once only milk, and milk and rice at night. Today i bought Royal Canine for starting from tomorrow. Please advise if anyone has had Dalmatian before...Thanks Abhishek Bonnerjee

you must give him commercial or dry food till 8 and then after that slowly start with home food for proper growth.

hey, why dont u try regale pup/ meal for ur dog..!(one of d best dry food available for dogs in india)
it doesnt contain any fillers n is wheat-free as well.

pedigree, eukanoba & royal canine are poor quality dog food...!

although i dont claim it to be the best in compare to these three brands but...
i insist you to read first 9-10 ingredients..it should not say as...corn, wheat, beef/meat-by products...etc
atleast it should hv 2 major ingredients such as meat, chicken, turkey, rice, peas, yucca etc

hope this will help you.
:)
