I hve 5 year old Lab, recently he is showing signs of Hip Dysplasia?

I hve 5 year old Lab ... Recently he is showing signs of HIP DYSPLASIA ... Doctor told its in initial stages , but its not curable :( ... He limps on his right rear leg ... Now to prevent the further damage , he needs to shed some weight , but problem is how ? I have decreased his food qultity and also giving him Maxxima supplement as Megaflex was not that effective ... I cant give him vigorous exercises too since it could further damage the hip joints ... please help , he's still young and i cant see him suffer :(

Get the yellow feet of chicken.. wash it properly and give the lab 2 in morn n 2 in evening.. do this for a month r so will see improvement. You can cut off the nails.

You need to feed medicated food from royal canine or eukonaba...it is called Eukonaba light

Dont feed anything else like egg yellow and other fatty things....u can continue with megaflex and egg whites. Another thing is that be strict with u r timings don't always keep food readily available. labs are pampered lot so people over feed as they love to eat so you need to be strict about all this if you want to seee u r boy recover.
