The best brand i came up with so far is "Royal Canin". It is the best. You can start with Royal Canin lab junior.

Hi Hema, RC is a big no for Labrador or any breed having genetic joint disorders like hips dysplasia. The owners who fed their lab RC in puppyhood found their dog having joint disorders when they were adults. I'd rather feed him Canobites or Science Plan which are both excellent but expensive.
Here I'm talking about those dog food brands which suites the owners pocket and also keep the dog healthy.
Brands like Pedigree and Drools come under such category.
I want to know the response from those owners who have fed or feeding drools to their puppy.

Hi Tiger d boi, even I fed my Lab Eukanuba puppy starter when he came to home. The results were fine. The problem occured when I switched to Puppy large breed. He refused to eat them apparently becoz of large size of the food. I then fed him Canobites ( about 3-4 packets ). The results were great but I found it very expensive ( 400 gm for RS200 ). Then, I started to feed him Drools. He had no problems in chewing it and was eating it happily.

We got our black lab when he was about 12 weeks old. We tried popular dog food purchase from nearest grocery store, our lab developed dandruff. Our vet recommended drools for large breeds. He LOVES it and he's coat is beautiful. He is a year old now and 35 kgs. He remains always full of energy and now become favorite of our locality . its really wonderful experience I had in my life because of drools.
