My lab pup is suffering from Vomiting and loose motion

Hi, it's been two days my lab pup is suffering from loose motion and Vomiting, he has got too thin in these two days, we have taken him to Vet who said he is suffering from intestinal infection. I am really worried now .. need your valuable suggestions
