Labs required good amount of exercise in form of brisk walking and running. So, if you live in active lifestyle, prefer to go on daily walks in morning and evening, Labs can be good pets. Along with lot of exercise, they require plently of mental stimulation in form of daily plays.
Japanese Spitz need moderate amount of exercise inform of daily walks which will keep them happy and lively.
In either breed, the training right from the beginning is important.
