My Dalmatian puppy stool was deep red, why?

Last few days I am feeding my 2.5 months old Dalmatian puppy boiled carrots, beet roots, potatoes mixed with minced chicken and boiled rice, today his stool was deep red, while washing the stool away in our toilet it broke into red particles, is it because of the red color beet roots i'm feeding him?? it was not blood as far as i could tell...

Beetroots and carrots cannot be digested by Dogs. They come out as it is or as chewed down particles. Do not feed carrots and beet roots. Or i would say it is useless to feed them.

Hey Rajesh, thanks a lot i have immediately stopped feeding beetroot and carrots, the concern is along with his stool today his urine was slightly reddish as well.as u said i could well make out the reddish particles in the stool which now m sure is the beet roots, but how in the hell did his urine become reddish.pretty tensed giving him lots of water and will watch till tomorrow morning...otherwise, i mean behavior wise he's absolutely active and normal.
