The earlier the better, but its never too late. Do the same what u will do with a pup, food being the best motivating factor, keep the training sessions short and fun.

dog can be train at any stage of his life, only challenge is to break his dominance and behaviour. as dog gets older they get adopted to lifestyle and they require time. lab are intelligent and wiling to work so its easy to train them but pug could be stubborn so give time and regular training.

Try Clicker training because these two are soft natured breed. you will find training method on web and youtube. Educate yourself and try it. session should not be more than 45 min/day

even i need help wid my GSD Chinu he is 1yr now ,he doent pee when i take him for walk , he will poo butnot pee
that he will do only at home when we come back
