He is teething and will soon grow out of it. Give him good chew toys and avoid hide bones.

As for the bath, he may be shivering as the water might be too cold plus he is not used to it. When bathing use luke warm water and make sure the sops gets washed away also keep in mind that water does not get into its ears as it can lead to ear problems. You can use a cotton wool ball to block the ear but be carefull and ask a vet to show you. If your dog is not dirty wait for another month or two. You can also use sprays in the market that you will need to spray on the dog and then just wipe it off.

Cockers need regular brushing and ears will need to be checked regularly for foul smell etc. Consult your vet. All the best

Another thing which I suggest to everyone is start training your dog in obedience from now on. Nothing fancy but the basics while playing with him or her. Also read about showing dogs and stance position etc and train little bit of training as in stance training from now on.

Pardon me for my ignorance. But what is a hide bone?
My 40 days old Lab puppy "Oliver" is also biting a LOT. I bought a few toys like - A ball, A small rubber bone, and a small rubber ring. He seems to be liking the ball a lot, but is unable to get a grip on it, since it keeps rolling. So he loses interest in it quickly and start biting my chappals or my Jeans.

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Show him what he can play with and bite otherwise you will spoil him and later have problems when he eats/ chews your expensive chappals etc.

As for the hide skin bone, they are bone in bone shape and are made out of raw hide/skin, it is nice and chewy and dogs at times love it, but can get messy and at times leads to aggression/ protective behaviour plus it can be eaten up and I dont like it as at times upsets the stomach etc.
