when u exhibit ur dog in any class, he must win his class first. similarly, all winners from other classes apart from champion class are taken together. the best of them is given CC, and the second best is given RCC (* this is subject to judge's approval, whether ur exhibit is worthy of the CC or RCC). the CC and RCC winners, and winners of the champion class are taken together for the prize of BOB, and second best RBOB. the BOBs and RBOBs of each group are taken together for best in group, reserve in group, and the third in group. the final lineup is 8 dogs chosen from 17 possible group placed winners. toy group - 2, terrier - 2, hound - 3, gundog - 3, utility -2, working - 3 and pastoral 2 best dogs each make the final cut. a champion is a dog that has won 3 CCs under different judges, provided one CC comes after the dog is of 1 yr age. this is what i know, and apologies for any mistake that may unknowingly be there.
