Treatment for Lice infection in dogs?

My relatives have a Great Dane at their farm house near Alibaug. She has a terrible infestation of Lice. The place is pretty remote so decent vets don't travel there and the dog is very large and so she can't be brought to Mumbai in a car. Can someone please suggest a medication/Shampoo/Lotion which can be applied?

The caution for RIDD bath is it should not be used regularly. Also it is sprayed from a bottle. dont get a bath or application. Do not allow the dog lick it. After being dry the normal bath should given after 3-4 days.

Have you tried Protektor pipettes. Quite effective. Don't ignore fleas and ticks as they can cause serious illness in the dog. You could also have a phone consultation with a vet in Mumbai on what flea protection to use.

Thank you everyone for your replies! The RIDD solution worked rather well on its first application. Will continue with that treatment.
