I think some of them are as below:

1. What will it turn out to look like once all grown up
2. Temperament - In my person experience I had kept a desi pup and she turned out to be a very snappy adult although she was brought up inside the house with other very friendly dogs.
3. Showing off keeping a popular pure breed dog

Temperament for me would be a big issue WITH KIDS AROUND......i wouldnt even buy a recognized/foreign breed if there are doubts about their parentage.......AND DEFINITELY NOT FROM PUPPY MILLS....
