its good about veg. boiled like carrot, ghiya, cabbage etc. i.e without small seeds and also food mentioned by you in my knowledge confirming from Vets. But I'm not sure about in what age. One more thing- some dogs develop stomach infection by milk. so milk is not good for dogs. So be alert while giving milk in pure form. curd is good for them. Sorry mikku, but only milk and roti can provide all the vitamins & nutrients to dogs?

Hi Buddy,
The food you r mentioning is good but u should remember that here we r dealing with a mastiff. These r giant breed dogs and for them proper nutrition at growing age is very important.
Milk actually is not required for dogs and infact it is contraindicated. What u can give instead is Paneer, cottage cheese and dahi.
Some dogs are even allergic to grains which makes roti also a big no. But for this u should check his family history and if his parents r not having any history of allergy, it is very unlikely that u will face any proble.
U also have not mentioned what dog food u r giving to ur boy. There is a pleanty of stuff available in the market but its only premier dogfood which one should buy.
At 04 mths you need to feed him atleast 3 to 4 times in a day. raw meat/chicken is good provided source is good.
