Step 1- Kneel down, and obtain your dog in an exceedingly 'down' position before of you. Hold a treat near their nose together with your palm facing up.
Step 2- flip their nose towards their shoulder by rolling your pass on therefore your palm is facing downwardly, whereas curved your arm over their head.
Step 3- As your dog's nose follows the treat, they'll become unbalanced and flop onto their aspect. At now, reward them with the treat and many of praise.

This is what I tried with my pup:
1. Taught him 'sit'
2. Second comes 'down'
3. Once he mastered those, and in down state, let him smell the treat, and let his nose follow the rotation of my palm.
4. Few trials and boom! he rolls over.
5. Started adding the command 'roll over' with subsequent trials. Added finger movements as well

My pup rolls over without a command now. All I need to do is make a finger movement.

Hope this helps!
