My two and a half month old Lhasa Apso puppy has umblical hernia, help?

my two n a half month old lhasa apso puppy has umblical hernia, which i noted some 15days back. there is a slight increase in size in the last 10 days but no other sign of intestinal obstruction. what is the plan of action.

Surgery is the only way out and dog becomes perfect. Contact a nice vet. Its a minor operation i guess.

Generally you can leave it as it is unless it is increasing in size. If you plan to breed your pup and its a female then you may have to get it operated to be on the safer side to avoid any complications during birth.

Consult a vet. The operation will take about 1 hr. Your pup will have to wait a while before you can get it operated if u decide to as its too small right now.
