What type of food is recommended for summer to keep stomach cool of Labrador puppy?

Hi, please feed curd as it's good for digestion. Please stop feeding milk as dogs don't have enzymes to digest lactose. You may have notices your dog is giving loose stools. This is because he's not able to digest milk. You can feed items like boiled egg ( not more than one ), minced chicken with rice. Boiled vegetables mixed with rice, paneer, etc.
If you are keeping her on home-diet, it's fine but give him calcium and vitamins supplement because home-cooked food may not be able to meet all the requirements of dog food.
I kept my Labrador on commercial diet for first 6 months to ensure there is no deficiency in the nutrition. After 6 months, we gradually introduced home-diet. Labrador can gain weight very easily which can cause problems in the latter stage. It's fine if Labrador is a little under-weight but over weight can cause a lot of problems latter. So be very careful with what you feed them.

Suggestion taken, will not give her Milk as she passes loose stool. But we were giving her as told by Vet.

We are giving her Calcium supplement but no vitamins. Will you please suggest few names of Vitamins Supplements?

She is on home cooked food diet. We have not yet introduce chicken or meat in her food.

Hi Sarbjit, if you are feeding home-cooked items, it's important you feed both calcium and multivitamin to your puppy. Because home cooked items may not be able to provide complete nutrition to the puppy. I'm feeding Nutrisam 365 Briskit ( for Vitamin and Mineral ) and Merical Pet Briskit ( for Calcium ). Both are good and can be given to dogs of all age. They are very palatable and your dog won't have any problem having them. Each bottle cost Rs 110.
Another one I used to give to my puppy was Nutriguard. It has both calcium and multi Vitamins. Nutrigard may be a little expensive.
There is also one Caldipet. It's a liquid supplement. You can add it to his meal or pour it directly into his mouth.
I'd encourage you to give him chopped pieces of boneless chicken, mixed with rice ( Khichri rice ). You can also add chicken liver in it. Your dog would love it. You can give him seasonal vegetables without any problems but just make sure it's free from spices and salt.

Mix some water in the curd and mix some fruit ( Which your puppy likes to eat). and try. Any thing other than puppy food should be given an hour before the meal time.
