English mastiff or bull mastiff is suitable but they need to be kept in air condition room or in cool place. They should be taken for a walk during late hour in evening or early in the morning. Take special care during the summers.

before going for a mastiff, what space can you provide for the dog in your house, secondly if you dont have a big space on your floor do you have space in your terrace ? lastly how much time do can you give to your dog and do you want your dog to remain in home or outside your house.... In gujarat specifically which area ? North-South-Central-West Gujarat ?

Bull Mastiff/English Mastiff is okay alternatively you can go for a Rottweiler also apart from DOBE which is more suited to Indian Climate

Well if u can provide the space, food and other expenses i would suggest a bull mastiff for the climate of Ahmedabad but if u consider my opinion i think u should go for the doberman if u can exercise it
