Hi, this is not an answer ,but more a question to your question!
Many countries have banned cropping of ears and docking of tails....it probably has no effect on the dog, but then we really don't know if its messing with something in their anatomy. The question is do we really need to do this just for cosmetic reasons?
Rgds,

3 months. I was against it before but now I am for it. I saw the difference it made on a doberman and I am impressed.
I now believe that it depends on your dog. If the ears are very faulty, its worth cropping to hide the faults. if the ears are correct, then leave them alone.

2 - 2.5 months is ideal age for ear cropping for Boxers,Danes & Dobermans.. If your boxer has flying ears get them cropped at arnd 2mons it would be very ideal & more chances for them to be standup with 2-3 tappings. All da best..!
