Why does a one year old dog scratch the walls. Is it lack of calcium or presence of worms?

Dogs scratch for time pass so dont worry....yeah have u de-wormed it ?

Does it eat the wall dust ?

second calcium
third liver

these are the normal causes..start from "first" and get the root cause.
do CBC n check RBC level also..Hameoglobin can be low too.

"boredom, stress or depression,lack of exercise." are more common causes as Puthran said.
first look in this way and then go further for a complete hemogram , worm infestation is also a cause.
make sure you give properly cooked meat if giving.. and properly washed raw fruits and veg's.
