Rejected 17,000 times - Lovable Dog Looks For a Forever Home [News]

17000Jed the Lurcher is thought to be Britain’s least wanted dog as he has been rejected 17,000 times by potential pet parents since the time he was a puppy. Jed had been returned by his first family as they had found him to be too energetic. His second family had to return him as there had been a change of circumstances for the family.

Darlington’s Dog Trust had taken in Jed when he was a four month old pup and has been with them ever since. The Dog Trust has made a fresh appeal to the people to find a forever home for the friendly and affectionate Jed. Jed’s Caretaker - Nikki Holroyd says that Jed has been rehomed a couple of times but somehow it has not worked out.

Lurchers are a slightly difficult breed to manage as they require a lot of exercise. Jed is really cuddly, loves affection and playing with his cuddly toys or running about in the field with his friends. Dog trust hopes that Jed will need a home where an experienced person can train him and also someone who can give him a lot of hugs and love.  Jed’s carers hope that Jed will soon find a loving home and be with a loving family.
