17 Jun 2016 | by | Posted in: Wag News

In the Japanese ‘anime’ series titled Pokémon featuring pocket monsters that could do a variety of things like spark a current, throw flames, shoot water guns and ice beams etc. The most unique of them all was ‘Meowth’. What made it unique was the fact that it could talk. The same reason sets ‘Mishka- The Siberian Husky’ apart from all of its kind.

Mishka, the dog, can say not one but twelve human phrases. Astonished much? Well, we certainly are. Mishka got quite the fan following once her videos went viral on YouTube. She currently has 295 million views on her channel and 99 million views for her video in which she says the three beautiful words- I love you. Not just YouTube, she has 19k followers on Twitter, 62k on Instagram and 262k likes on Facebook. That’s a lot!

The talking dog has gotten much praise and adulation and is sought after by many advertisers in the U.S. to promote their product. ‘Purina’, a Nestle subsidiary of pet food launched Mishka in their commercial which first aired during ‘The National Dog Show’ in 2012. Mishka is not the first of her kind, though, some German Scientists had taught a Great Dane to respond ‘Mein Fuhrer’ when asked ‘Who is Adolf Hitler’. Of course, that was to eventually make an army of talking dogs for the Nazi regiment while this beautiful Husky only spreads love and no war.

This lovely nine-year-old female Siberian Husky loves her humans with heaps of licking and 'I love yous'. Matthew Gardea, her human, says she actually seems to be showing affection towards them when she says 'I love you'. He adds that even she couldn't do what she does, she will stay as precious to them forever and ever. And then some. :)
