This Dog Paints, What Have You Done With Your Life?

23 Jul 2016 | by | Posted in: Wag News

There are times when you get inspired from people around the world, who are successful in accomplishing their dreams. And then, there is this dog, which has the capacity to make you question yourself, “What Have I done with my life?” Dagger, a pooch who was being trained to be an Assistance Dog for Canine Companions for Independence has some extraordinary skills. The internet calls this dog as “Dogvinci”. And why not? The dagger paints so well that you might not be able to figure out the difference if the painting has been made by a human or not.

The owner of Dagger, Yvonne mentioned that one day “He just started nudging me, and I said, ‘Dagger do you want to paint?’ So his tail started to wag. I said OK.” Hence, Yvonne helped Dagger to hold a paint brush from his mouth and attached a cardboard roll so that it has a good grip. He discovered that the four-legged friend did some amazing art pieces.

Since that time, there was no looking back for Dagger. Dagger’s new career took off like a rocket. The dog’s paintings are being sold for $50 to $200. What is the best part here is that all the earnings made from selling paintings are donated to Canine Companions for Independence.

He looks so adorable with that cute beret. Don’t you think so? Seeing Dagger paint showcases that nothing is impossible in this world. A colorblind mutt painting art pieces, while we are sitting around and surfing the internet.

Well, today I couldn’t agree more with the fact that Dogs are indeed better than us!
