This Golden Retriever Beats Cancer Like A Boss!

08 Sep 2016 | by | Posted in: Wag News

This furry golden retriever, Chase Westbrook loved her family just like any other pet would do. He loved to play all the time. However, his life took a toll when the family found out that their dog has cancer. He was diagnosed with synovial cell sarcoma and because of the same; Chase’s one front leg had to be amputated in February 2015.

A little difficulty was certainly faced by Chase adjusting to a three-legged life. But his little human, Ava Rae didn’t let him face the depression even for once. Chase and Ava are best friends and she is doing every bit to make her furball comfortable with the new life. Ava is always there for Chase. She helps Chase in everything he might need.

Now, Chase has adjusted with his new life as a three-legged dog. One thing is for sure that it couldn’t have been possible without his little human Ava. Just like before, Ava and Chase play together and none of them feels any different. In fact, they are even closer than before.

Of late, Chase’s family feared that cancer might come back. But after a few tested, the vet declared that the adorable pooch was cancer-free. Indeed, Chase has been through a lot, but with such a wonderful family and Ava, he always had a smile on his face.

It certainly feels good if you have someone always there for you. Facing the bad times with all the support you need is what makes you get through that phase with ease.
