This Woman Is A Mother To 350 Abandoned Animals

It fills our heart with love and respect to see people like Anjali Gopalan who are working hard to ensure that dogs, for that matter all animals are taken care of. The founder of All Creatures Great and Small (ACGS), Anjali Gopalan is doing every bit for the ones who are neglected by all. All Creatures Great and Small is a nonprofit organization, which provide shelter to animals in distress. Anjali is also the founder of NAZ foundation with work for HIV/AIDS and sexual harassment problems.

This NGO was started with taking in dogs that needed a place to stay. Spread in 2.5 acres of land, comprises of an organic farm located in Faridabad, Haryana. Currently, the organization is taking care of over 300 dogs and this number increases on a daily basis. Apart from dogs, the shelter is currently caring for ample of horses, cows, buffalos etc. Every single animal in the shelter has a name and a story.

The ACGS attempts to synergize the existence of all living beings in a free discrimination-free environment. Currently, the NGO has a staff of about 15 people, which includes para-vets and two visiting vets.

Abandoning your pets isn’t a good choice ever. If you have adopted a pet, you should make a commitment to take of them. We believe in encouraging people like Anjali Gopalan and hope that more people come in and volunteer for such causes.
