Tiffin Service for dogs- Delhi India

If you thought that dial-up services were only for pizzas, groceries or cabs, well, think again. Now you have the luxury of picking up the phone and ordering food for your dogs too.

A Delhi-based company, Scooby Corps, delivers meals for dogs at your doorstep twice a day. “Working couples today find it difficult to cook even for themselves. That’s when we came up with this idea of delivering freshly cooked meals for dogs,” explains Abhishek Kapoor, who started the service with friend and partner Himanshu Bhasin about a year ago.

So from Rrrrruvery Rrrrrisotto, Tatar Cakes, Grrrrisotto and Yummy Chihuahua Stew cooked in olive oil along with mushrooms, corn and carrots along with other veggies to desserts and cookies such as Apple Crunch Cakes, Carob Dipped Biscotti and Puppy pan Cakes, the meals span various cuisines such as Italian and Chinese. “The meals that we prepare for dogs are all prepared in our kitchen under the supervision of a vet,” informs Kapoor, who switched from his family business of importing fruit juices to taking this service to a larger scale with Bhasin, who was earlier in pharmaceuticals. From catering to orders of only two boxes a day, their kitchen, consisting of 15 people, now caters to over 300 dogs across Delhi and NCR, including VIP security sniffer dogs too. “We started on a small scale since we were not sure how the people would respond to a service like this. But it struck very well with dog owners,” admits Kapoor, who is planning to extend the services of Scooby Corps across North and South India. “We plan to take our company to Punjab, where we will begin in about a month’s time followed by Bangalore later this year,” says Kapoor.
