Recently, a heart-wrenching incident was seen in South Australia. A woman was found guilty under the charge of starving her pet Chihuahua to death and then dumped it into the bin. This woman named, Vicki Brown is 59 years old is arrested under the act of ill-treating an animal to cause death. The dog’s body was found in a dustbin. It weighed merely 1.89kgs. Ronan O’Brien who was prosecuting on behalf of RSPCA mentioned that there was no major organ failure or diseases were found. But the dog has an empty stomach and intestines.

He mentioned saying, “All of which led to the conclusion that the dog starved to death. This would have to be one of the most horrible ways I can think of for a living creature to die, worse than shooting, worse than stabbing.”

O’Brien also stated that the little Chihuahua was kept in the laundry room of the house as it smelt of ammonia. He added, “The house in its entirety was very messy, but the bathroom and laundry area was particularly filthy with rubbish and faeces. It’s one of the first cases I have had where a dog has actually starved to death.”

However, in Brown’s defence, she told the court that she provided both water and food to her dog. But the evidence shows something else.
We hope the little dog get his justice and the guilty is given the appropriate punishment.
