Wondering If Your Dog Loves You?? Of Course They Do!!

For years, the human mind has been curious on how our canine friends sees us. We would love to know whether our loved pooches understand our emotions, our love for them and even if they love us back as much as we do. Many researchers have confirmed that when a dog sees its owner, their brains generate the same neuron reactions that imitate love. In order to further prove the theory, researchers went one-step ahead and used neuroimaging technology to look inside the brains of dogs.

The study revealed that dogs not only love their owners, they also see their owners as a family. They also noted that the smell of their owners triggers activity in the reward center of the dog’s brains bringing the reaction of a happy dog. The researchers are spell bound on the study and have gained valuable insight to previous canine neuroimaging research studies that confirm that both dogs and humans react similarly to certain emotional cues. Indeed, dogs are a man’s best friend - emotionally and mentally!
